【摘要】:Theprimarypurposeofthispracticeistocharacterizethecarbon-typecompositionofanoil.Itisalsoapplicableinobservingtheeffectonoilconstitution,ofvariousrefiningprocessessuchashydrotreating,solventextraction,andsoforth.Ithassecondaryapplicationinrelatingthechemicalnatureofanoiltootherphenomenathathavebeendemonstratedtoberelatedtooilcomposition.Resultsobtainedbythispracticearesimilarto,butnotidenticalwith,resultsobtainedfromTestMethodD3238.TherelationshipbetweenthetwoandtheequationsusedinderivingFig.1arediscussedintheliterature.Althoughthispracticetendstogiveconsistentresults,itmaynotcomparewithdirectmeasurementtestmethodssuchasTestMethodD2007.1.1Thispracticemaybeusedtodeterminethecarbon-typecompositionofmineralinsulatingoilsbycorrelationwithbasicphysicalproperties.Forroutineanalyticalpurposesiteliminatesthenecessityforcomplexfractionalseparationandpurificationprocedures.Thepracticeisapplicabletooilshavingaveragemolecularweightsfrom200toabove600,and0to50aromaticcarbonatoms.1.2Carbon-typecompositionisexpressedaspercentageofaromaticcarbons,percentageofnaphtheniccarbons,andpercentageofparaffiniccarbons.Thesevaluescanbeobtainedfromthecorrelationchart,Fig.1,ifboththeviscosity-gravityconstant(VGC)andrefractivityintercept(ri)oftheoilareknown.Viscosity,densityandrelativedensity(specificgravity),andrefractiveindexaretheonlyexperimentaldatarequiredforuseofthistestmethod.1.3Thispracticeisusefulfordeterminingthecarbon-typecompositionofelectricalinsulatingoilsofthetypescommonlyusedinelectricpowertransformersandtransmissioncables.Itisprimarilyintendedforusewithnewoils,eitherinhibitedoruninhibited.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.FIG.1CorrelationChartforDetermining%CA,%CN,and%CP
